A
great learning experience for children ages 8+!
Twisted
Tree Farm trainer, Alicia McNeil is conducting both camps for students age
8+. Students do not need prior riding experience to attend either of
these camps. Camp allows students to gain confidence in their
abilities to handle and ride their camp horse, even if they have no
prior experience. Emphasis is on horsemanship, health, basic riding
skills in English, (advanced if appropriate), gymnastic exercises, arts
and crafts. Lessons may be scheduled in the weeks prior to the start of
camp to acclimate your child to the program if you wish. Proper riding attire is required (paddock boots or
cowboy boots, no bicycle helmets - only ASTM approved riding helmets,
jeans or riding pants, tucked in shirts. Girls should tie their hair
back in a low pony tail. Helmets may be borrowed from TTF, however
we strongly recommend purchasing your own.. Only
7 students will be accepted per session, so call to reserve your space
