Kelly Bogaard began riding 19 years ago with Twisted Tree Farm.  She began her career on ponies in the short stirrup ring and worked her way up to the Grand Prix ring. She has won numerous championships in the hunter, equitation and jumper rings. As a junior and amateur rider she received top zone rankings and was the Western Canadian Champion in 2012.  Kelly has competed both nationally and internationally throughout the Western United States, Canada, and Germany.  She has trained young horses and riders of all levels and always brings a positive attitude.  She graduated from Arizona State University with a degree in Business Sustainability, and after a career supporting sales in agriculture products and veterinary supplies, she has returned full time to her first love, developing horses and teaching riders to reach their full potential.

Sydney Oshinski: Sydney Oshinski started her riding career with Twisted Tree Farm at just 6 years old. Sydney came to Twisted Tree Farm during her family vacations to Scottsdale from Chicago, Illinois and participated in camps and riding lessons. At the young age of 9, Sydney started traveling and competing with Janet Hischer all over the map including Colorado, California, Oregon, Washington, New Mexico, and Canada. After winning numerous championships in the hunter divisions she expanded into the jumper arena. Sydney participated in several camps and workshops hosted by Twisted Tree and moved her way up to being a counselor for several years before relocating to Arizona. Graduating in the top 15 of her class from Lincoln Park High School in Chicago, Sydney now resides in Scottsdale and attends Arizona State University where she majors in Criminology and Criminal Justice and minors in Spanish. As she attends classes during the school year, she works part time at

Larry Hischer (Supervisor): Larry, along with his wife Janet Hischer, passionately owns and operates Twisted Tree Farm. The couple of 34 years established TTF in 1984. They have dedicated their lives to Twisted Tree Farm's horses, children, junior and amateur riders.

Please be sure your child wears pants and a boot or shoe with a heel. ALL riders are required to wear a helmet. A bicycle helmet is acceptable and we will provide helmets to those who do not bring their own. Please pack a lunch for your child to bring to camp!

                                          workshops are filled with fun activities around horses. These workshops offer a whole new way for children to learn to ride and the importance of good horsemanship. Children learn to ride and master new skills on and off the horse. This program is open to children of all experience levels form ages 6 – 16 years old. Our experienced instructors are dedicated to teaching proper horsemanship and ensuring everyone has an enjoyable and positive experience. Twisted Tree Farm has several dependable school horses who love the attention these workshops bring them.

Twisted Tree Farm. During the summers Sydney works full time at the farm where she enjoys teaching young children, juniors and adults. Sydney is an extremely enthusiastic coach and a dedicated rider.
